The Enterprise

Ani-Care Animal Services, an animal shelter situated between Ontario and Nyssa, has caring for 43 dogs seized from a Weiser home Friday. Sheriff Matt Thomas of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office said the dogs all lived inside the home in unsanitary conditions. The future of the dogs is uncertain but the sheriff said he hopes the owners will relinquish the dogs so they can be adopted. Meantime, Ani-Care is asking for volunteers, donations, and critical supplies such as food, water hoses, and extension cords.

Our earlier report on this situation is in this story.
