Jacobs makes decision

After a second visit to the campus of Western Oregon University, Vale’s Zac Jacobs signed his letter of intent on Thursday, March 3 flanked by members of the Vale coaching staff and his parents. With plans to pursue a degree in business management, Jacobs said the football program at Western just seemed right. “It was a good fit for me,” Jacobs said. “I plan on playing running back. Exactly when I hit the field depends on how fast I progress.”
