Malheur County Vector Control District is accepting contract pesticide application proposals. Work will include both larval and adult mosquito control pesticide applications. All applicators must have an Oregon Department of Agriculture Commercial Applicator License with Public Health category. In addition contractor will need to demonstrate knowledge of and proficiency with all aspects of mosquito control equipment and methods. Specialized application equipment is required and contractor must provide list of their available equipment. Specific GPS data collection equipment is also required. Contractor must also carry two million dollar liability insurance policy. Proposal packets may be obtained by contacting District Manager at 541-473-5102, or [email protected], or download from vector.malheurco.org. Proposals are due by 4:00pm MT February 15, 2018. VALE OREGON IRRIGATION DISTRICT
BOARD OF EQUALIZATION NOTICE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, to all assessment payers and other interested persons that the Board of Directors of the Vale Oregon Irrigation District will meet on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at 1:00 pm at their office, to sit as a Board of Equalization to review and correct the assessment roll as prepared. The Operation & Maintenance fee for the year 2018 will be $90.00 per account and $37.90 per acre. These funds shall be used for the care, operation & maintenance of the district, delinquencies in collections, reserve and administrative expenses. In addition, the construction charges for 2018 shall be $2.58 per acre, payable to the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation under contracts of the district.
