Updated weekend sports schedules

The smoke has caused havoc with high school sports schedules. Here is a rundown of what games have been cancelled and games moved.

The Vale varsity football game originally scheduled for Friday night in Homedale has been moved to Saturday in Homedale with a 12 p.m. start time.

Weiser will travel to Ontario on Saturday for a 12 p.m. start with the Tigers in varsity football action.

Nyssa has cancelled both football and soccer with no makeup scheduled. The Nyssa/New Plymouth football considered a Saturday game, but the idea has been scrapped. Both boys and girls soccer teams were scheduled to travel to McCall, but with conditions, both games have been called off with no makeups currently announced.

A decision on the Wallowa versus Adrian/Jordan Valley football game will not be made until Saturday morning. Current information has the game taking place at 1 p.m. in Adrian unless conditions worsen.

The Wallowa/Adrian volleyball game will not take place or rescheduled as the Antelopes already had tournament play scheduled for Saturday in Burns.

The Harper football team will not be making the trip to Dayville. There is no makeup date scheduled.
